Position: 2 years MSc program in Food safety and parasitology
Where: Western College of Veterinary Medicine and Canadian Food Inspection Agency
Start date: September 2024
Deadline: June 15 2024, or until ideal candidate is found
Description: A graduate student position is available at the department of Veterinary Microbiology of the Western College of Veterinary Medicine (University of Saskatchewan, Canada). This project will be funded by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.
Candidate skills: Motivated individuals, with strong work ethic and interest in public health and food safety. This project will work on molecular diagnosis of food-borne protozoa. Previous knowledge and experience in DNA sequencing and bioinformatics are not mandatory, however, are an asset.
