UT Arlington is an R1 research university in Arlington, Texas. Arlington is in the center of the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area. It provides all the big-city amenities while being generally more affordable than many similar cities in the US. The DFW area is a very fast-growing tech hub with a diverse population. The DFW airport (one of the largest in the world) is highly convenient for out-of-state and international travel.
